“Care & Repair Leeds Wins Major National Award – Again”
Care & Repair Leeds has won a prestigious national award for the quality of its services.
The organisation was presented with the Home Improvement Agency of the Year award by Tom Levitt MP at the Foundations Annual Home Improvement Agency Awards. The awards ceremony was held in the House of Commons. The event was attended by several senior Members of Parliament and government ministers. There are 250 Home Improvement Agencies throughout England and this is the second time that Care & Repair Leeds has won this award.

The Home Improvement Agency Awards recognise the commitment, vision and innovation of local home improvement agencies at a national level. The prestigious Agency of the Year award celebrates the home improvement agency which demonstrates an exceptionally high standard of service across all areas of its work.
The judges were impressed with the wide range of services offered by Care and Repair Leeds to older, disabled and vulnerable people across the Leeds Metropolitan District area.

Local MP George Mudie congratulated Care and Repair Leeds, saying:
"I am extremely pleased that my local home improvement agency has been recognised for the excellent work they do. This award recognises the hard work by all the staff at Care and Repair Leeds in these and other achievements in the last 12 months and is testament to the dedication and hard work of everyone involved with the agency since it was set up 23 years ago."

People who have used Care and Repair Leeds’ services are full of praise for the agency’s hard work. Mrs D, who used the agency’s adaptations service, said: “Since I had the adaptations fitted my confidence came back and this led me to find my health improved. I am so grateful to all that was involved with improving my daily living and cannot thank them enough. It is also good to know someone is out there to help when needed. Thank you once again.”
